The star descended into my inception. I became a word of lightning in my mother’s blessed womb. Together, we exploded into birth. The sun became my eye, the moon, my belly.
I learned the ways of people and weather, earth and leaf, eye and wing, claw and tear. Time’s river drew me into all familiar forms and deep relations.
And then her I saw her gaze, and the entire thread of my life ignited like heaven’s crucial fuse. A bursting shock of nameless angelflame.
Now, alone, I burn with holy awe and glory.
