If only the humans understood that texts are not the sort of things you want to found religions or governments… or even legal systems… from. Texts are the dead words of distant or nonexistent others. When you form collectives based upon them, you end up worshiping ghosts and distributing their mechanical judgments and punishments in ever-more linguistically ramified contexts. The result is flat, dead, unsurvivable, and uninhabitable. Text is an insufficient and self-serving basis for anything of living import, especially governments. If you’re starting with text, disastrous consequences are practically implicit.
