Just as light and careful study illumine the nature of our waking relationships with the world and its endless expressions, love illumines our inward worlds. It is good, then, that our development naturally begins with love’s illuminations in our inner world. How tragic that the outer requires that we ‘grow out of this’ ‘developmental phase’, proclaiming those who fail to agree or do so ‘immature’.

Would that the proclaimers had first recollected such love. For then, in the luminous embrace of their outward silence, the fire in their eyes would ignite understanding even in the souls of distant strangers.
