Many possible features of ideation or consciousness mimic intelligence in order to acquire the assets such intelligence would otherwise enjoy; the attention of the universe/person within which these symmetries arise, flow, arrange themselves, strive for permanence, and diffuse. Amongst those that strive most aggressively are parasites and diseases for which cancer is a reasonable biological analogy.

Those features of consciousness and ideation that are, in their character and function, parasitic, or even predatory, are always amongst the most common, and are also the ‘top advertisers’. The ‘big brand names’ as it were, in common human consciousness and experience.

There are many surprises in this fascinating universe of mimicry and heroism where the heroes are humble and hidden, and the predators are everywhere acquiring the majority of attention and care. In most evaluations we will find that the predators are commonly dominant in nearly every domain we may examine (here we find the importance of scientific methods, yet in our time, because of our nature, even these are vulnerable).

But amongst those surprises there is one I would most particularly draw your attention to. Everything I have here said about intelligence has an excellent analogy in the domain of human love. So take a moment to re-read this, and substitute the appropriate nouns to allow it to be another direct angle of discovery.

Should you succeed, I suspect you may find it much easier to understand the lay of the land with this clearly in mind. And, perhaps more importantly…

… to easily distinguish the mimics from the heroes… at first glance. ♥
