Unfortunately, nearly all of the roles suggested and enforced by our modern cultures forcefully deny our dignity, our intelligence, and most of our capabilities (as individuals and groups).

Disappointed, we look to subcultures for relief and find the same problem — albeit with new packaging.

It follows that we must somehow learn to empower each other to establish roles worth inhabiting and exploring together, with and for each other and our world.
