Our model of ‘what’ the Earth is, and what the Sun, a Person, an Animal, a living thing or an object are — all are invisibly woven into every concept or word we invoke. The errors in these models add up, particularly if we are not encouraged to understand and ameliorate the dangers inherent in such abstractions.
