In romance, the Other may also represent a living doorway out of linear, ordinary time, into a paradigm of {possible} eternality… but it is not mere eternality we seek here. It is the deepest form of learning-in-fellowship… where unity leads beyond a purely romantic eternity — emerging in and as a wholly other form of time which is epic, intelligent, compassionate, heroic, shared, and profoundly rich with insight.
