Anais Nin did not say enough when she implied that the possession of knowledge did not obscure the sense of wonder or mystery. For there are species of knowledge, and amongst them those who slay wonder and mystery first, and assert thereby their mastery (of us). But there are other species whose nature is to endow us liberally with learning momentum and wonder, and these I more trust.
