The way your computer ‘connects you’ to the internet is an analog of another, older connection which it is destroying. Your mind was developed in order to connect to the transentient intelligence of Earth (and other orders of intelligence) in a similar way. Nearly no one has experienced it, since our cultural scripting hides and inhibits these capacities. Without them, we are not human.
