The authority to know does not generally belong to us. We must somehow first discover this incredibly strange fact of our common experience before we can attempt to amend it. Our languages and cultures will resist this discovery to every possible extent, and will even drag us back to their carefully elaborated cages should we finally discover egress. Authorization is the key.
