The way we experience time is a way of being. But there are (endless) ways of experiencing time that we have simply failed to develop into. It is the same with language or knowledge. We have barely made a mark, yet it appears from inside the balloon as if everything has been done. The opposite is true, there’s a modest scratch in the surface of our possibilities, and we think it’s the entire catalog, completed.
