Some ideas are so void of value and content that they must attack our intelligence to gain access to our mind. They then attract others of their ilk, forming a virulently contagious superculture of stupidity which slowly replaces the mind it is consuming. More advanced examples of this mimic heroism or wisdom, and are celebrities of the new age, the political right, hate groups, and similar cultural aggregates.
