It has been my constant and nearly unopposed experience that the human ideas of ‘Justice’ are responsible for far greater atrocities (with almost absolute constancy) than any crime ever committed. The idea that torturing people for their ‘wrongs’ is just or correct — or in any way conscionable is one of the deadliest and most egregious errors we have made as a species. It must cease with this generation.
