Each of the animals you see in the world is like a function of your own consciousness as it acts invisibly within creation. As you become intimate with animals and insects, they therefore ‘instruct’ (inwardly structure) you about the nature, character and function of your own body and mind, without this instruction, which comes only from nonhumans, you will be bereft of understanding.
