Lysol is the perfect metaphor for modern thought. ‘It moves therefore it must die’. If it doesn’t move? Threaten it. In case nothing happens — kill it anyway, otherwise it might start moving when you’re not paying attention. I mean, come on, the name is LYSE ALL. It means, literally: kill all cells. I’d like to think that, at some point, someone stood up and said: ‘Er, HOLD ON aren’t we MADE of cells?’
