The conotations of wise, playful, rebellious elder — child or otherwise — are conducive to learning. Those of school are not. Machines are not conotated at all. Because I learned from Nature and older humans, my learning was charged and conotated by these sources. Because any fact can be found on machines now, our intelligence is dying. Information is not learning.
