The reason there’s an apocalypse at the end of the Bible is complicated, but a big part of it is simple: The Right Hemisphere gives birth to the left which promptly denies this and then attempts to kill the Right. This happens in us, and our cultures. Eventually, the ‘Science/Abstraction’ contingent decides to ‘kill everything’ and has to be put down. Of course, eventually, the scale is the world.
