The nature of modern human culture is to constantly promote ‘popularity’, yet when we participate as consumers we are being consumed, and merely become the advocates of paradigms and ‘authors’ that eat our lives and world. This is an entirely insufficient role. Our nature and capacities are insultingly miscast when rendered in the role of the consumer.
