Some time ago a friend posted an update about their child sleeping in the Sun. Apparently, a hummingbird stopped by, dipped into the child’s ear briefly, and departed. At the time, I thought this was wonderful. I still do. But I now realize that more was going on than I originally understood: the brain -is- a kind of flower… and there’s a lot more to hummingbirds than meets the eye…
