Science is a fascinating way of knowing, but we must realize that there are universes of difference between the nature, function, and purposes of events — and those staged reductions we call experiments or hypotheses. One cannot stage the accidentally-on-purpose aspect of reality. In fact, it would be hilarious to attempt it.
