Somehow it’s not insulting enough that we wage wars, but then we must endure the incredible expenditures and toxicity-costs of re-waging them on film tens or hundreds of times. Apparently, we simply cannot get enough atrocity, and will happily kill or allow millions to starve just so war movies can be made, stored, distributed and collected. Perhaps this is true of movies in general.
