It’s disappointing and discouraging when one expresses novel thought and heartfelt understanding only to be met with this sort of comment: ‘Oh! You -should read- so and so!’ My response: ‘No, •you• should STOP READING and START USING YOUR OWN GIFTS.’ I was not born to compete with books and vidoes! I may be wrong, but I don’t think you were, either.
