I have heard some persons assert that ‘the universe is ‘a simulation’. Though I find this completely impossible, and absurd, there is a far simpler objection: if this should somehow be the case, the obvious entailment is that there is a far better way of conceptualizing and understanding these matters. Simply stated: if this even »resembles the situation, what this ‘tells us’ is that it is imperative to forge a more useful and insightful understanding.

And »all perspectives, but especially those that purport to tell us ‘what’s actually going on’ … are like this.

There is no perspective that is so »final, that no insight can be grained, unless its proposition is trivial; for example ‘the door is closed right now’.
