“Nearly everything we have tried to learn from ancient and even relatively modern cultures points to a single, glaringly obvious view, which nearly no one holds.

That our species was cognitively, emotionally, technologically, and spiritually bonded with networks of nonhuman intelligences here on Earth (living places, organismal networks, animals, plants) and in the sky… and… in the beyond of the sky.

This is not a religious topic any more than you having a physical hand is.

At some point, a specific group of factions of humans, first forgot this, and then actively dismissed it, and then weaponized the resulting absences in our thought, expectation, activity and development.

»That is a sort of religious topic.

That we were born to intimately merge with and participate among a vast array of transentient beings… isn’t even a question.

Had that »not been the case, the thing you call ‘your’ mind (it isn’t yours), wouldn’t exist.

Out people, and minds, were born for skies and roles and relationships we’ve failed to imagine.

So far.”
