“How do you imagine God?”
I do this sometimes, but it is largely futile. It is like imagining kissing or the Sun. Beyond all possible conception, including this one. Explosively beyond, infinitely beyond. No sun? No minds. This resemblance is instructive.
“How do you imagine the opposite of God?”
That is relatively simple. The absence of the spirit of origin and insight, adoration, the heart, communal becoming. Good examples are capitalist anti-cultures, the prison-industrial-military complexes, and absurdly self-tokenizing mechanical systems. Factory farming. Facebook. Google. But nothing is immune; the Divine leaks in even where it is exiled. The common human indenture to machines and extractive technologies are also exemplary of this absence. As, too, my own ‘personal’ identity, largely. And most of my thinking.
