I have heard many theories about the nature of the pyramids. But this morning, I read, in a text from the mid 1600s… something that staggered me. The author dismissed it as a romance, a fantasy of the Arabs.

In this account they describe a king who becomes aware that a flood is coming. And that Egypt will be destroyed by it.

So he has the pyramids built… to survive the flood. And fills them with all the knowledge and treasures of Egypt and their forebears.

And this is clearer and more obvious than all the wild theories I have ever encountered. So much so… that it literally »does not matter if it was ‘true’ or not.
