Science (sometimes) becomes Scientism to the degree that the academic atmosphere of discovery has disappeared into the dominance of dogmas of interpretation that defend themselves against anything that might exceed or falsify them… or their usually unadmitted ‘sacred facts’. which are not facts at all, but suppositions.
