Positioned as we are, we have the rare opportunity to access, renew and/ or adopt the core values and principles that have enabled Blackfoot people to live sustainably here for many thousands of years. The beavers, in that tradition, have long been highly regarded because of the manner in which their way of life inadvertently hosts the existence of so many others.
