The organisms and living places… the earth and sun and moon are >doing and being something transcendental… which produces minds as a >side effect of their nature and activity. Modern humans have entirely failed to even begin to imagine this, and we have no words or ideas about it. But, by devastating the anciently conserved ecologies, our species is attacking the origins of our bodies and minds. This behavior will render us “alien” to them, and, in short order will result in something analogous to an immunological reaction in the biosphere … where we will be understood and treated as a pathogen. The earth and sun ‘have friends’ of forms we have failed to imagine… and we will be seen as their enemies.
