Humans are often heard asking about whether (x) has consciousness or not. Unfortunately, they seem to rarely ask whether (x) IS (a unique instance of) consciousness. I suspect that fundamental particles are ‘experiencers’ in some important senses, and thus, subjugating them to the experiences that technology enacts… could be problematic in a variety of ways that affect both the experience of particles… and the nature of local spacetime… catastrophically. Prior to the invention of machines, all experiences were organic… and thus involved in the generation and experience of the hyperdimensionality native to organic beings and processes.
