I read E.O Wilson’s book The Insect Societies when I was in my early 30’s. Then I read everything else he wrote. Especially with Holldobler. His entomological work was seminal to the formation of my formal intelligence regarding hymenoptera and other social insects. He was huge influence on my mind, interests, and thought.
