In a culture where any actual intelligence would have to masquerade to survive, we must expect such intelligences to be both exceptionally circumspect in their relationships with culture and capable of forging and detecting signals from other trustworthy intelligences. This means a kind of steganography, hidden in plain sight, which, rather than leading to a game or marketing ploy… leads to an actual body of intelligences. This has long been the case.
