For our intelligence to »merely survive the dangers imported once polarities are introduced… we must learn a few skills.

One is not to generalize from the specific to the universal.

Example: some person treated me cruelly; humans are cruel.

Another is to think in topologies that connect polarities at low and high points on the map. Concepts about identity are topological (valleys and mountains), rather than explicit (one quality/characteristic only).

And a third is to understand that actual polarities influence each other… rather than being «separate, they are aspects of union…
