A very interesting toy. But it’s origins are stranger… more astonishing… and more familiar than we can possibly imagine. In the same way an actual kiss … and an imaginal kiss … while happening at once… are not either or.

And never can be.

I feel a bit of sadness that the man who sees, understands, and demonstrates this property of … [redacted] … doesn’t seem to understand the implications, analogies, metaphors… and nature of what it is he demonstrates…

And perhaps a bit more, that, in my best moments… I, too, am largely incapable of the unification that would transform the nature and activity… of human intelligence. Lifting us beyond mere reference…

… into direct intimacy.
