There is another world near at hand; but entering it requires either a beautiful accident… or a very different aspect of mind than that we are ordinarily familiar with. Often, our world-view acts like the opposite of armor — rather than protecting us from something, it insulates us… from nature, ourselves… wonder… and our innate belonging in and with the living places and beings.
