Today I saw a complete spiderweb whose lower anchor was simply a large, hanging leaf. Midair. Not only have I never seen this before, but the engineering here is off the charts… and I would have loved to witness the process of setting that leaf as the anchor… I don’t think the camera could really register it… this is another instance of camera != eyes…
