Funny thing is, the living often end up playing with the kids from the other side of the tracks. Sooner or later, no matter what their peers or parents say, you’ve got some little fish cleaning the teeth of a shark, insects signing long-term contracts with plants, fungi shacking up with algae, white people falling in love with black people, and humans who would rather hang out with dolphins. Life has rules that it usually ends up breaking.
