The boldness of this assertion took hold of me.

I replied:

I’ve certainly painted too clumsy and narrow a perspective here, but my goal was to draw attention to something I’d become aware of. The idea that I might be dead wrong is extremely intriguing — for I’d far prefer to learn something than to merely be correct!!! I’d love to see some other examples of where I was dead wrong, and I presume there to be a library of such! For those were the footprints of my path in quest… and they definitely begin in error and require many grave mistakes.
