Context and Harmony
(Sychronization)
In German, the words Zeitgeber and Zeitstorer refer to events and stimuli that either deepen our innate capacities for synchronization – or disrupt this possibility.
When we ‘synchronize’ to fictions, that’s Zeitstorer. And that’s nearly all of what’s going on in the news, societies, work, and other aspects of our common, modern predicaments.
This is the result of a variety of influences, but, essentially, it’s a problem with representation. We have become scripted to relate not with things, beings, or situations… but with representations of them.
While sometimes ‘convenient’, this behavior obliterates our actual presence in »context, which, for humans is absolutely fundamental to well-being. What happens is that we skip over time, relationships, learning, intentional union, harmony and health… to get the abstraction or token that this collapses into.
When this proceeds: contexts collapse into representations, and we ‘identify’ with those representations (i.e. we confuse them for ourselves, or even collectivity that was never actually established).
Without meaningful contexts, our humanity is viciously circumscribed. And we end up becoming the representations; treating each other as if words ‘tell us’ who someone is, and a thousand other disasters.
For humans to be human together, coherent, harmonious, healthy contexts and behaviors are absolutely essential.
Where we fail to establish these, or throw them away…
Everything collapses into incoherence.
