The Blank Screen

1. It’s black

2. Then there is light.

3. It starts out with absolutely inviolable mystery; which is code for (unity).

4. You start the pretend-game with the framing toy(s).

5. You begin to collapse the myster-(unit)y, according to the structure of the frames you make. You make ‘cuts’ in the unity.

6. This is all a pretend-game.

7. You select which cuts to make. a: It’s (some)thing. b: It’s a plant (categories). c: it’s a *tree. d: it’s a cedar tree.

8. You get a name. And think you know what the token ‘cedar tree’ refers to, because you collapsed it on purpose into a word.

9. You pretend that knowing the word actually is knowing the cedar tree.

10. Which is impossible.

11. Because the cedar tree is everything, everywhen, everywhere.

12. Except it’s here, and it’s »uniquely everything, everywhen, everywhere…

13. Which means it’s a living door… a unique living door… to The Beyond.

14. It changes ‘where it leads’ according to how you relate with it.

15. But the word ‘ceder tree’ makes all that go away.

16. Because ‘you know what it is’. Which you can’t. Because it isn’t — that way. And can’t be. Unless you »do that with it in your awareness.

17. The adults taught you this way.

18. It’s how they lost the Portal. But you remember… before…

01. It returns to absolutely inviolable mystery.

02. It is black.
