If each nation was a person sitting at a table, most of them would be trying to respond intelligently to an array of threats that are powerful enough to obliterate nations … at their roots.

But one of them would be stomping around screaming and making absurd accusations, demands and projections… that indicate that the nation this one comes from… is going to commit something like murder and suicide at the same time.

And I imagine them looking at each other, with a silent realization that, not only has one of the previously most powerful nations on Earth gone actually insane…

… it intends to keep doubling down on that position, until it rips itself to shreds.

And if I were one of these other nations, one of the other people, I wonder what kinds of preparations I might make for that threat.
