Two days ago: it is windy and I am walking along, and I see this … well, something … complex… approaching me at relatively high speed at about head-level. As it approaches I realize it is going to hit me in the face, so I am preparing to evade it when I notice … yep… it’s a fucking FLYING SPIDER!

I mean, I knew this was possible, but I had never seen it directly before. And it wasn’t a tiny one, either. It was a spider about as big as a dime with its legs out, just flying through the air like it was a bird and shit.
