Forms of error correction in conversation:

1. Repeat your interpretation of the sender’s signal (statement, question, etc) »in your own words… to the sender, to see if they agree.

2. It is possible to create a kind of irresistible gravity »between one interpretation (or statement) and another such that both participants are drawn to new terrain… together, and thereby come to agreement.
