There are now drinks that simultaneously create and satiate thirst… at the same time. And thus with food and hunger. And because we’re so bored… with roles too uninhabitable to be sustained… and yet which must, somehow be sustained… isn’t this what we actually desire?

At least this artificially induced conflict ‘keeps us afloat’, hovering over the evacuate terrain beneath us… where our role as consumer becomes so obvious that no other role competes… and we recognize the dire futility of nearly all that is our common lot.

And most of us are vulnerable, to precisely such artifice; because we want to both maintain the ache of unfulfilled urgencies… and their momentary satiation.

Because we’ve grown impatient.

And been scripted to be so. By the nearly instant delivery… of anything for which we can pay a modest fee … in order to accelerate a slightly lesser…

… and ever-more momentary…

… gratification
