“Though the language is too crude to capture the subtleties of the relations between the hemispheres, one might say without being entirely deceptive that the ‘person’ of the Left Hemisphere tends to strongly believe it is the only one; that only the Right side of the body exists, that anything else is a strange ghost best done away with, and other utterly absurd and deadly ideas. It just so happens that, for at least the past 2000 years, this hemisphere has ruled our governments and our world. Think about it. Carefully.

When you observe the current President’s speech and behavior, you are seeing one of the finest examples of this in human political history. It’s as if he doesn’t have the other hemisphere, at all, or is capable of almost absolutely inhibiting its capacity to interrupt, object to, and detect narrative fallacies (and lies, in general).

You see, though most of us have minds (and right hemispheres) capable of doing this, our societies and collectives… so far… do not. So they can just make up language and pretend (or demand) that it’s true, without the slightest concern for the necessity of verity, validity, or anything at all. To the unmitigated left hemisphere, if you can say it… it’s an inalienable fact. Every time. No matter what.

And that’s the monster that’s been running our world for at least the last thousand years or so… and has become abjectly tyrannical in the last 200.”
