A few little reminders during the uncommon situation we are presently experiencing… that may or may not have made it into popular media.
1. Slow down. Especially during activities that require attention, such as cooking, slicing food, moving objects, cleaning, driving, running, using stairs…. lifting, or in other situations in which you may be at risk of physical injury. It’s very important to be mindful, particularly around situations where you could be injured in such a way that might require medical attention.
2. Experiment. Take advantage of the time we now have to explore the deeper aspects of your humanity, awareness, creativity, imagination, dreaming and relationships.
3. Reach out to others (including me if desired) to establish, re-establish or engage in deep relationships, conversations and activities that are mutually meaningful.
4. Pay attention to your body, your intuition, dreaming and your imagination. Resist the urge toward any kind of paranoiac or otherwise unhelpful mindsets.
5. Enjoy the capacities you have to bring comfort, reassurance, joy, play or healing to others. And to yourself.
