Very interesting site title that is a crucial pivot of using our minds intelligently: All generalizations are false. This title calls into question evaluations that involve ‘the world’, ‘most people’, ‘some specific group of people or animals’, etc. It warns us that a common feature of how we were trained to think, is nearly always (if not always) misleading. Of course, that is a generalization… which introduces us to the secondary problem that arises when we compose a generalization in order to include a wide category of phenomenon in an evaluative statement. There is a related problem where critical evaluations are often invisibly ironic since they may violate their own advice when poorly composed.
This chart attempts to evaluate the various news media that we are exposed to, and the degree of quality or bias that each outlet tends to exhibit, as well as specific political leanings.
