In the single act of the dissolution of the Environmental Protection Agency, the present administration will do more direct harm to American men, women, children and families … than the entire history of terrorist acts aimed at US citizens.
When your own government presents a greater threat to peace and well-being than the sum of other ‘enemies’, it is necessary to form and enact new forms and procedures that make such idiocy not only illegal, but impossible.
If the EPA falls, we must compose, together, something stronger, more binding, and more effective. This is an opportunity to invent an organization whose powers and scope are intelligent, effective, humane… and realistic.
We must take this opportunity, together, now, to compose something strong enough to be unaffected by partisan government, and strong enough to win the battles that now face present and future generations.
