It takes science a long time to ‘discover’ what is obvious to anyone in actual relation with nature. Which is a good argument for that relationship, because this gives you access to a learning environment that is light-years beyond all of science, is alive, is like and of you, and is unimaginably intelligent.

So don’t wait for science to ‘discover’ that all organisms are intelligences some time 100 years from now. Go meet and learn to relate with them directly, intelligently, and with a purposive sense of mutual concern, nature and wonder.
