It’s not a matter of mere stimulation, the cognitive-haptic experience of physical objects impacts memory, cognition and intelligence… positively, while exposure to electronic devices literally causes our brains and bodies to adapt to a complex series of inputs that have nothing to do with information and are experienced as metabolic and biorelational noise. So we end up adapting to noise instead of content, and, eventually, seeking it.
